Are you a finance or accounts manager looking for a fresh challenge with a rapidly growing company where you can make a difference or perhaps you are an experienced finance or accounts administrator looking for your next step?
If so our client, a rapidly expanding and growing recruitment agency headquartered in Berwick, with multiple offices, including in Europe, is looking for a new finance manager to oversee our Accounts and Payroll function.
With a turnover of around £8 million and payroll of up to 700 workers your role is absolutely vital to the success of the company. As a temporary agency the most important task we do is to pay our temps on time and correctly each week and you must be focussed on ensuring that the finance team continues to deliver this. You will also produce detailed management information and monthly accounts to enable senior managers to make informed decisions on how to manage the business.
You will be a natural problem solver with good prioritisation skills and a desire to continually improve and refine our processes. With good planning skills you must also be able to delegate effectively and communicate clearly.
You will be reporting directly to the commercial director and will have 2 team members reporting to you so must be comfortable leading and motivating a team. A Permanent position is when you are employed by the Client on their payroll – we simply carry out the recruitment process for them.

A Temporary assignment can range from one day to several months. You will be an employee of Reiver Recruitment assigned to work at a client site for the duration of the assignment.

Contract work is a job done on a project basis instead of permanent employment. The project can be for a short duration, but because employers are looking for a very specific skill set, the job can be rewarding and lucrative for both parties.
The standard working week in the UK is between 35 – 37.5 hours

Full-time is Monday – Friday
09:00 – 17:00
(or the hours set by the company)

Part-time is usually around 17.5 hours per week and can be worked over 5 days (either mornings or afternoons) or consolidated into a 2.5 day week.
